Jeremiah-Print

$5.00Price

God called the tenderhearted prophet Jeremiah to warn the people of the Southern Kingdom of Judah that they would be put out of the land if they did not repent of their disobedience and idolatry.  There was reform under the godly king, Josiah, but the people merely went through the motions of worship without changing their wicked, rebellious hearts.  Jeremiah saw the people of Jerusalem exiled to Babylon in three deportations and the city destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar.  The prophet himself was taken to Egypt by the people who remained in Judah, and he died there.  It is little wonder that he is called the weeping prophet.
