View Sample Paul wrote to the church in Colossae from prison, assuring them that he prayed for them even though he had never met them.  The Colossians were being influenced by worldly teaching that denied that Jesus was both fully human and fully divine.  This letter presents Jesus Christ as the Image of God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, and supreme over all.  Jesus is also truly human, taking on a physical body to bear the sins of the world. This book will encourage you to focus on things above, not earthly things.
