Abraham - Print

When humanity divided into nations, God formed His own nation to be a witness to the world. He began with one man, Abraham. God promised Abraham that He would make his descendants into a great nation, give them a land, and that through them, all the earth would be blessed. Abraham believed God and traveled to the land God showed him. God gradually taught Abraham and his wife Sarah to walk by faith in Him, but they tried to have a son in their own way, and Ishmael was born. Later, Isaac, the heir God had promised, was born, and he inherited the promises that God had made to Abraham. Abraham’s growth in his life of faith is a picture of our growth as we learn to walk in faith as Christians.
